The T4 was designed with hikers, canoeists, and kayakers in mind, and it has been a big hit with gardeners. The large, downsloping brim provides ample sun and rain protection. The T4 has a high, well-ventilated crown. The sun protection is equal to UPF 50+, the AMC Cancer Research Center's highest rating, and the dark underbrim helps reduce reflection from snow, sand, and water. Hidden Velcro tabs allow you to secure your sunglasses through the grommets and have them securely held in place. Tilley Hats are washable, packable, water repellant, protect against UV rays, and they float. They are comfortable, extremely durable, and they're guaranteed for life!
