Packing Checklist

This the list that the Le TRAVEL STORE family - Joan, Bill, Jesse, and Kate - uses when we travel. We each travel with just one carry-on luggage piece and one day-bag; if you need a little more than that, feel free to adjust the numbers up. In Your Main Travel Bag

Bill uses an Eagle Creek Tarmac 22, Joan uses an Eagle Creek Tarmac 20, Jesse uses an Eagle Creek Travel Pack. Kate uses the Timbuk2 Copilot.

Pack-It Folder 18 containg the following:

2 Button-Up Shirts (We like these travel shirts for men & women)

1 Turtleneck

1 Dressy Shirt

1 Pullover or Sweater

2 Casual Pants (Check out these travel pants for women & men)

1 Dress Pant or Skirt

Pack-It Cube containing the following:

2 T-Shirts

1 Pair Shorts

1 Swimsuit

Underwear for 2 weeks (pack fewer pairs with travel underwear for men & women)

Toiletry Kit containing the following:

Soap & Skincare products

Toothbrush with Toothbrush Case or Cap & Toothpaste

Shampoo & other haircare products in GoToobs or Leakproof Nalgene Bottles

Hairbrush

Dual Voltage Hair Dryer

Deodorant

Razor & shaving cream

Sunscreen

A First Aid Kit in a Small Pack-It Sac, containing:

A Travel Medical Kit

Extra Band-Aids & Neosporin

Immodium AD & Pain Killer (we like Advil)

A pair of sandals in a Pack-It Shoe Sac or Cube

A Pack-It Quarter Cube containing:

A Travel Clock

Plug Adapters & Voltage Converters (find out what you need with our handy guide)

iPod charger any other chargers & electronics you plan to bring

A Picnic Kit in a Medium Pack-It Sac containing:

2 Plastic Packable Glasses

A corkscrew (if you're carrying everything on, buy this at your destination)

A pocket knife (buy a cheap one of these at your destination too)

Security Essentials & Documents

Luggage Locks (2 for the main bag, 1 for the day bag)
